Vision: To financially assist children to enter into good quality schools as well as sponsoring them in regards to school fees, uniforms, stationery, breakfast and lunch.
Primary school sponsoring program
Currently 260 Zandspruit children are being fed breakfast and lunch every weekday as well as a selective group of vulnerable children receive extra food parcels to take home. They also get access into the Golang Aftercare Centre, for a nominal fee of R100 per month. It costs Golang Education R400 per child per month to run the Aftercare Centre. We depend on donations and sponsorships for our income. We have a staff complement of 16 people, most of whom live in Zandspruit.
As a Section 18A Public Benefit Organization, we are able to provide tax deductible certificates for all donations received by us.
